Description

Spinach dip in bread bowl that’s creamy, rustic, and unforgettable. A simple, crowd-favorite appetizer made in minutes—perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

1 round loaf of crusty sourdough or French bread

1 package frozen chopped spinach (10 oz), thawed and squeezed dry

1 cup mayonnaise

1 container (16 oz) sour cream

1 packet vegetable soup mix

1 can (8 oz) water chestnuts, chopped

3 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

Crackers, vegetables, or bread chunks for serving


Instructions

1. Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center.

2. In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and vegetable soup mix.

3. Fold in chopped spinach, water chestnuts, and green onions.

4. Season with salt and pepper and mix thoroughly.

5. Spoon dip into the hollowed-out bread bowl.

6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

7. Serve with the reserved bread cubes or your favorite dippers.

Notes

Best served chilled.

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
