Description
This spicy pickle lemonade is the boldest summer drink you’ll try—tart, sweet, salty, and spiked with jalapeño heat. A Southern twist with serious attitude.
Ingredients
½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (2–3 lemons) 1½ tablespoons dill pickle brine 1–2 teaspoons jalapeño brine (or 1 thin jalapeño slice) 2 tablespoons sugar or honey 1 cup cold water Ice Lemon wedges and jalapeño slices, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. In a small pitcher or large glass, stir lemon juice and sugar until dissolved. 2. Add dill pickle brine and jalapeño brine or slice. Mix well. 3. Pour in the cold water and stir to combine. 4. Taste and adjust: more jalapeño for heat, more sugar to sweeten. 5. Serve over ice. Garnish with lemon and jalapeño slices if desired.
Notes
Use chilled ingredients to keep the drink crisp. Add club soda instead of water for a fizzy version. Let it chill 30 minutes for a bolder flavor infusion. Pairs perfectly with BBQ or spicy grilled foods.
