Description

A sweet, sour, and salty drink that surprises everyone. This pickle lemonade is the perfect summer refreshment, made in minutes with bold flavor.

Ingredients

½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (23 lemons) 1½ tablespoons dill pickle juice (from kosher dill pickles) 2 tablespoons sugar (or honey) 1 cup cold water Ice Lemon slices or pickle spear for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. In a glass or small pitcher, mix lemon juice and sugar until sugar dissolves. 2. Add dill pickle juice and stir to combine. 3. Pour in cold water and stir again. 4. Taste and adjust sweetness or brine as needed. 5. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon or pickle.

Notes

Use cold pickle juice straight from the fridge for the best chill. Try club soda instead of water for a sparkling version. Add a dash of pepper or a pinch of chili flakes for a savory twist.
