Description

This hot honey pizza sauce blends sweet honey, tangy vinegar, and a touch of heat to give your homemade pizza an unforgettable flavor kick.


Ingredients

1 cup crushed tomatoes

2 tablespoons hot honey

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt to taste


Instructions

1. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, hot honey, vinegar, chili flakes, oregano, and salt.

3. Simmer the sauce for 10–12 minutes until it thickens slightly, stirring occasionally.

4. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.

5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using on pizza.

6. Store in a jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Notes

For extra heat, add a dash of cayenne or hot sauce.

Perfect for pepperoni, sausage, or veggie pizzas.
