Description

Dolly’s Chicken and Stuffing Casserole is a creamy, cozy one-dish dinner made with just 5 ingredients. It’s fast, family-friendly, and full of classic Southern flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie works well)

1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix (like Stove Top)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: fresh parsley or thyme for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, combine chicken, soup, sour cream, and broth. Mix until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. In a separate bowl, prepare stuffing mix using hot water and melted butter as directed on box.

4. Spread chicken mixture evenly in prepared dish. Top with stuffing.

5. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.

6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time.

Let the stuffing sit for a minute after adding hot water so it fluffs properly.

Cover with foil during baking if the top browns too quickly.
