Description
A rich, sweet, and buttery Southern dessert made with butter pecan cake mix, pecans, and condensed milk. Simple, comforting, and ready in under an hour.
Ingredients
1 box butter pecan cake mix
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
2 cups chopped pecans
Optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Pour condensed milk into the dish and spread evenly.
3. Sprinkle butter pecan cake mix evenly on top—do not stir.
4. Scatter chopped pecans across the cake mix layer.
5. Drizzle melted butter over the top, covering as much as possible.
6. Bake for 45–50 minutes until golden and bubbly.
7. Let cool 10–15 minutes before serving.
Notes
You can add sliced apples or caramel drizzle for seasonal variation.
This cake is delicious warm or chilled.
Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 4 days.
