Many years ago, The New York Daily News featured a cooking column by Ella Elvin. One of my favorites was a recipe for Apple Noodle Kugel. I've misplaced the recipe, and nothing else that I've tried comes close to it. With the upcoming Jewish Holidays, I need help! Does anyone out there have Ella Elvin's recipe? My kids love those pizza lunchables, but they are mostly packaging with little food so I came up with this cheaper, tastier version so the kids can make their own little pizzas. So simple. Also makes a filling, quick little breakfast. read more »

Cook carrots and onions in butter in small skillet over medium heat until tender crisp; set aside. Combine fish fry coating mix, cornbread mix, baking powder, creole seasoning, and black pepper in large bowl. read more »
