This looked SO good when I saw it at epicurean.com that I knew it had to be MINE, all MINE! (Well, I needed easier access to it, anyway.) I've been on a truffle oil kick lately since I discovered how remarkably delicious it is. Who knew? I am the fourth generation to learn how to make this long cooking spaghetti sauce. It has very few ingredients, and it's secret is the long cook down time that thickens the sauce. Everyone loves it, and meatballs are an added treat. This sauce freezes well for up to 1-2 months, and is sure to be a hit for any age. Here is my recipe for a smooth sauce filled with a great assortment of meats and spices. With some preparation in the beginning and a few voluntary hands to stir the pot throughout the day, this com read more »
