This light & fruity punch was a big hit at a recent gathering at my house. You can definitely improvise from the original by adding other fruit. When I don't have fresh peaches I use a can of sliced peaches, liquid & all. This would look nice garnished with mint leaves! -- posted by MA HIKER read more »

Very beautiful combination of flavors and festively colored as well. Not just for Christmas, but also lovely to serve for a ladies' gathering, tea or summer soiree! COOKING TIME is for thawing the lemonade and softening the sherbet...NO COOKING INVOLVED! Once again those gals at Gooseberry Patch get the credit for another excellent recipe. -- posted by Debber read more »

Brew up a batch of this, pour into thermos jugs and insulated cups, hop into the car and drive to the Tree Farm to find your perfect Christmas tree. This will warm you up while you traipse through the rows and rows of trees. Back in high school, the chair of the mathematics department made this punch for every banquet held at the school. It is quite good and, of course, non-alcoholic! -- posted by D. Todd Miller read more »

I've seen several mock champagne recipes, but none have had quite this combination of ingredients. It's a really refreshingly tasty non-alcoholic punch. I had it at a work function several years ago (where alcohol was not allowed) to celebrate a co-worker's upcoming wedding. Prep time includes the minimum freezing time usually needed to freeze the ice ring. -- posted by NorthwestGal read more »
