I love my slow cooker in the summer---don't have to heat up the whole kitchen by using the oven! This recipe uses hash browns, potato soup, mushroom soup, sour cream, and two kinds of cheese. I recently acquired a "Robust Sampler" of salts from saltistry.com. HIGHLY recommended if you're a sea salt addict like myself. The recipe is from the book - Rice Cooker Meals by Neal Bertrand and the recipe impressed my husband; not only for the taste but for the ease of cooking the dish. He was surprised we could press the button, leave and go Stine Lumber and not have to worry about anything burning and then come back home and the meal is done. I actually used only half the butter called for in the recipe. read more »

Prepare potatoes according to package directions. Heat sour cream, do not boil. Add mustard, salt and sugar. Stir to blend. Stir in hot potatoes and add onion. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degrees F oven. read more »
