I am looking for an Italian recipe that is a mashed potato ball, with things like chopped ham and cheese rolled into it. Then I think, it was fried. I don't know what it's called, but I ate it at an Italian Festival. It was so good!

Combine first 5 ingredients and form into balls. Place tuna balls in buttered casserole dish. Combine the soup and the milks; pour over the tuna balls. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

My mother always makes this cheese ball at Christmas, and growing up, I never realized there was any other kind of "cheese ball" but this one. I now make it for get togethers, holidays, or sometimes just because it's so good! There is never any left overs, and everyone always wants the recipe. This recipe makes 1 large ball or 2 small balls.*Note: My mother puts 1 tsp of Accent (MSG) in hers. I never buy this stuff, so I leave it out, and I can't tell a difference. -- posted by Mrs. H

This is a wonderful creamy cheesey pate, with a bit of a crunch in it.Got the receipe from an old friend, and then I just added to it what ever I liked. I'ts a real winner, all of my family and friends just love it. They can't seem to get enough....... I truely hope you all wil enjoy this receipe asmuch as we all do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
